There are five steps to driving a pure electric vehicle: the first step is to start the vehicle, the second step is to release the handbrake, the third step is to step on the brake pedal with the right foot to complete the braking, and the fourth step is to gradually press the electronic accelerator pedal with the right foot to complete the acceleration. Step 5: Complete reversing.
Currently, most electric vehicles have four gears: D, N, P, and E (E1, 2, 3). D is forward gear, N is neutral gear, used when starting and parking, P is parking gear, and E is energy-saving gear, which is used for forward movement like D gear. It can automatically recycle energy during braking and deceleration, increasing the cruising range of electric vehicles. About 20% longer.
1. Start the vehicle.
Turn the key to the "ON" position, all the instrument background lights will light up, and the low voltage will be turned on. Then turn the key to the "Start" position, hear a "beep" sound, and hear the "click" sound of the relay in the battery pack closing twice. The battery pack high voltage is turned on, and the "READY" green light is displayed on the instrument panel, and the vehicle can be entered. Driving status.
Note: If you encounter an electric car like Tesla that is not started by a conventional key switch, you only need to lightly apply the brakes, and the car will be powered on and start, and then you can put it into gear and drive away. Because Tesla does not have a special "handbrake", shifting the "P" gear is equivalent to pulling the handbrake.
2. Put down the handbrake, place the shift control mechanism handle in the "D" position, lightly press the electronic accelerator pedal with your right foot, and the vehicle starts to drive.
3. If braking is required, press the brake pedal with your right foot to complete the braking.
4. If you need to accelerate, use your right foot evenly and gradually depress the electronic accelerator pedal, and the vehicle will begin to accelerate; if you keep driving at a constant speed, just keep the electronic accelerator pedal at a certain opening.
5. If you need to reverse the vehicle, first move the shift control mechanism handle to the N position. After the vehicle stops, move the shift control mechanism handle to the "R" position to complete reversing.
