Check high voltage wiring harness
The battery voltage output of pure electric vehicles is about 200V~360V, so the sealing requirements for high-voltage wiring harnesses are very high. (PS: Like the fuel system of a gasoline vehicle, the quality of the high-voltage wiring harness directly determines whether the vehicle can be used normally, and is even related to the safety of the vehicle and personnel!)
When a vehicle is driven for a long time, problems may occur with the conductivity and insulation of the high-voltage wiring harness. Therefore, detecting high-voltage wiring harnesses is a top priority when maintaining electric vehicles.
Check battery pack
As the most important part of electric vehicles, batteries also have various problems. When consumers purchase electric vehicles, what they are most concerned about is battery life and cruising range. Therefore, checking the battery pack is the most important part of maintenance.
At present, the electric vehicle batteries we know are generally divided into two types, ternary lithium batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries. Under normal circumstances, lithium iron phosphate batteries have a longer life and higher safety, and can usually reach a service life of about 10 years.
Check battery coolant and motor coolant
The color of battery coolant and motor coolant is basically the same as that of fuel engine coolant, usually pink or green liquid. When checking, if the liquid level is lower than the bottom dead center mark, it is necessary to check the cooling system and replenish it in time.
The motor coolant and battery inorganic salt coolant must be replaced every 4 years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
In addition, some electric vehicles also need to regularly replace the gear oil of the transmission mechanism. (PS: Usually you can consider changing the gear oil after driving about 50,000 kilometers~)
