I. How to Operate an Electric Three-Wheeler

Electric three-wheelers are relatively inexpensive and have gained popularity among many middle-aged and elderly people. They are then purchased and used as their own means of transporting groceries or picking up children. So, how do you operate an electric three-wheeler?
The steps for operating an electric three-wheeler are as follows:

1. Insert the key into the lock and turn it to power on the vehicle.
2. Release the handbrake.
3. Slowly turn the handlebar. At this point, the electric three-wheeler will move forward.
4. There is a reverse switch below the right handlebar. By turning on the reverse switch and then turning the handlebar, you can make the vehicle reverse backward.
5. To apply the brakes, simply step on the brake pedal.
6. To stop, release the handlebar, pull up the handbrake, and turn off the key door.

Electric three-wheelers also have a light switch and a turn signal light switch, located on the left and right handlebars. The switches are marked with clear light indication, and before driving, you can first confirm the position of the light control keys to facilitate flexible operation during the use.

II. Safety Precautions for Driving Electric Tricycles

1. Wear a helmet properly. Make sure to fasten the chin strap securely.
2. Do not drive against the traffic. Driving against the flow significantly increases the risk of collision with vehicles coming from the opposite direction.
3. Do not overload the vehicle. Overloading the vehicle makes it difficult to control and can easily lead to serious traffic accidents.
4. Obey traffic signals. Do not run red lights or ignore stop signs.
5. Control the speed. Electric tricycles have poor steering and braking performance and an unstable center of gravity. When passing through downhill sections, intersections, sharp bends, etc., reduce speed in advance to prevent sudden braking from causing the vehicle to overturn.
